The Adventure Birding Company was founded on a desire to do things differently...
Our goal with every undertaking is to help you see, learn about, and enjoy more birds. We specialize in making every birding experience an adventure in its own way. Maybe your idea of a birding "adventure" is camping at 7000 feet, waking up to Buff-breasted Flycatchers singing above your tent, while basking in a glorious Arizona sunrise. Maybe it's navigating a windy volcanic road in Mexico to seek the curious Chestnut-sided Shrike-Vireo. Or maybe it's just the excitement you get from catching your first glimpse of that Altamira Oriole right outside your car window in south Texas! No matter what your idea of "Adventure Birding", we can make it happen.
If you're strictly on a mission to add birds to your list, we're happy to share the salient identification features of each species, and do so expertly. (On to the next bird!)
If you're looking for more, however, we're prepared to deliver that as well. Our favorite aspect of guiding is actually teaching people about birds, not just showing them. When we're not in the field, we're reading about all aspects of bird biology - and other natural history topics, too.
We trust that our efforts will shine through when you're with us on a tour! John Yerger, Jake Mohlmann, and Keith Kamper Owners and Senior Guides The Adventure Birding Company For more information about our services, please explore this website or contact us at: Email -
